"Salty skin, sand on our feet and wind on our faces are the reason for our journey..."
SAL store was born in Brazil in 2013. It's founder Marcella Brit, an experienced fashion designer and keen surfer, decide to merge her love of the ocean and of surfing with the career she had known so well. Over the next few years, her designs developed to include surf suits that are designed to support the intensest of days in the water yet complementing the most feminine of women.
Beach style, comfort and performance are important aspects of each collection Marcella produces. With low cuts and brazilian cuts, SAL designs cater for every body shape.
In 2018, SAL began an engagement to minimize their impact on the environment, opting to use recycled nylon and biodegradable fabrics. In some products where they are currently unable to replace certain fabrics with a more sustainable match, they pledge to donate 5% of their sales towards NGOs that help with ocean cleanings and marine animal care.
All of SAL’s water sports garments are made in Marcella's home country of Brazil. Their Press shops follow strict guidelines of water efficiency, waste disposal and use of non-toxic materials.
We, at Indigo + Salt, are very proud to be the first Australian stockists of SAL. We know that Australia will love them.
